It looks like a cage

But it isn't

The bird flew into it you see

Attracted by the shelter it provided

and by the friendly flower

It isn't a cage

There is no lock

There has been thousands of miles

Much food for the journeys

And sometimes a little too much drink!

This here is something of a place and time

where the walls are pages

and the bird is the story

But the window is open the whole time

Ellinor Mazza is a good friend of mine and we like making stuff together. Although we'd probably never go to the races we've been making head pieces for Spring Racing Carnival for a few years now.
